Kestrel - Land MTI for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Military forces frequently deploy AeroVironment’s small UAS in dynamic and complex operating environments. Sentient’s Kestrel Land MTI software solution adds capability to AeroVironment’s family of small UAS by automatically detecting moving objects in electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) full motion video (FMV).
Integrated with AeroVironment’s existing common Ground Control System (GCS), which serves the Puma™ Raven® and Wasp™ this capability improves situational awareness of the ground, provides operators an immediate cue to potential threats, and enhances airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), which helps save lives.
