Automotive system supplier strengthens global electric charging footprint with additional competence

Stockdorf/Munich (Ger.) / Monrovia, Calif., June 4, 2018 – Webasto Group, one of the 100 leading suppliers to the automotive industry worldwide, and AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV), a leader in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for both defense and commercial applications and tactical missile systems (TMS), announced Webasto’s agreement to acquire AeroVironment’s Efficient Energy Systems (EES) business segment for $35 million, subject to customary post-closing adjustments and indemnification agreements. TAMPA, Fla., At SOFIC, May 22, 2018 AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV), a global leader in unmanned aircraft systems for both military and commercial applications, today announced the receipt of contract awards in April 2018 from the United States Army for procurement of the company’s Switchblade® Lethal Miniature Aerial Missile System (LMAMS) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) that bring the total value of Switchblade awards to $111,054,202 since August 2017. The contract awards were funded through Urgent Need Statements and include the first Switchblade order from the United States Marine Corps.The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal will manage the contracts, for which $78,095,737 has been funded.

MONROVIA, Calif. – March. 1, 2018AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) today announced that it won an important jury verdict in Ventura County Superior Court. On February 26 the jury found that former AeroVironment employees, Gabriel Torres, Justin McAllister, and Jeff McBride engaged in fraud, and that Torres and McAllister breached their respective Patent and Confidentiality Agreements.The jury also awarded punitive damages against all three defendants.The total verdict was more than $2.4 million. Torres, McAllister, and McBride are founders of MicaSense, Inc., which is majority-owned by Parrot SA.
