Dragon Eye

When the U.S. Marine Corps asked AV to codevelop Dragon Eye, we got to work manufacturing their designs. The result was a fully autonomous, back-packable, bungee-launched UAS designed to provide “over-the-next-hill” reconnaissance.

But AV continued to seek new ways to solve customers’ problems. Already in development, Raven promised to make small UAS more portable than ever before. After seeing Raven in action and recognizing its new capabilities, the Marines began to adopt Raven. Like Dragon Eye, Raven was entirely back-packable, but it could also be hand-launched by a single soldier – an indispensable feature for soldiers in the battlefield.

Today, the U.S. Armed Forces view Raven and AV’s other small UAS as a core capability that ground forces count on wherever and whenever they operate.
