Industrial Security Representative, 09-191

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Administrative duties such as record keeping, filing, processing visitor request, updating various spread sheets, and security databases, along with the JPAS system, and other assigned duties.
- Individual will be responsible for conducting ITAR briefings, and
new hire orientation.
- Will take an active part in visitor control and ensure security procedures are being followed.
- Assist with ITAR compliance and interface with the government (DSS) and program management to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Individual will study and learn the NISPOM and other government regulations that apply to industrial security.
Required Qualifications & Background
- Effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational and proven multi-tasking ability.
- The candidate shall have the capability and demonstrated successful experience in performing industrial security activities to include the JPAS system.
- Working knowledge and application of security principles, concepts, practices, and standards, successful completion of Essentials of Industrial Security Management course, high school diploma or equivalent, and 2 - 4 years experience in an organization that provides security support to a federal entity or private corporation in a classified environment.
- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for on-going access to classified information.
This position requires you have access to data and technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants cannot be hired until they are qualified to have such access.
